Wikipedia has become a harmful site. Bwaha!
How did that happen? Is Wikipedia actually supporting malware?
For those who use Google as a search engine (everybody does nowadays), type anything in the search bar. The first to appear is usually a Wiki link. However, now there is a "this site might harm your computer" link at the bottom that redirects you to a warning page when you click on the link.
What is wrong exactly? Did Google and Wiki fall out or something? I reckon this will be fixed sometime soon and it might be due to a glitch somewhere. However, it is not so often that I see Wikipedia being labelled as a "dangerous site" and therefore, is pretty funny to me.
I wonder how many people catched it. Probably lots, unless Wikipedia doesn't have the search query in their list. Bwaha!
UPDATE: It happens to every search query on Google. Hoohoo! So its a Google glitch then.

Chinese New Year!!!
Happy Chinese New Year everybody! 新年快乐！ 万事如意！
The first day of new year was well...normal... Just went to visit a few of my relatives and got some red packets and exchanged new year greetings and oranges. I got to see 2 of my married cousins and their wives. It is really strange when you are getting red packets from relatives of the same generation as you. They are indeed older than you, but not that much.
And I spent the rest of the day doing my own stuff. That is pretty much it. THe only difference is that we had a steamboat and bbq at home. It was nice! Just that the cleaning up was a bit... I don't like the cleaning up part. You feel energized after having a nice meal but regain all the fatigue when doing the cleaning up. I wonder if the restaurants will be packed with people too lazy to do their own cooking and cleaning up.
During festivals when I am in Beijing, I think that I will just pretty much ignore the festival. Lol! The young people these days do not really care about festivals and tradition that much. It is sad that the traditions that have been passed on from our forefathers will be gone just like that. But with the modern way of thinking...it just cannot be helped. And I am guilty of the crime too.
The year of the ox may not be that good as it is "lacking in the fire element", but I hope everything turns for the better. With a better economy, everyone will definitely be happier!

Lunar New Year Eve!
It's Lunar New Year Even today! Everyone is thinking of a fun-filled reunion dinner and gatherings with friends and family. That's the norm for 除夕夜. But is it really so in every case?
Guess how I spent today?
Not exactly cleaning the toilet though, just cleaned lots of other stuff. And with that, the day is gone for me. Gone gone gone. I didn't even touch my books in the long weekend break! We are keeping the house spick and span just to accomodate the people coming to our house although I think that no one is coming in the first place. Its probably my mum's excuse to get me to clean the house. I mean, I have seen houses that I am even too afraid to enter their toilet... I think that it will be much worse in their houses.
Tired tired tired. That is all I have to say. And my reunion dinner only consists of 3 people. Not that I am complaining though. This way I have the time at night to do my own stuff, and that includes blogging. :P
At least I don't have to go visiting everywhere this Lunar New Year. The only reason I like Lunar New Year is because of the break, and not because of all the visiting I have to do. (And I even remember a year I was reprimanded for not wanting to go visiting on the second day of the New Year although my mum agreed with me. -_-; )
I don't care. Someone just give me my break. My new year blessings will probably come tomorrow. The new year atmosphere gradually fades as one gets older...

CNY weekend
This is what I found when I searched on photobucket for Chinese New Year pictures. I think it looks ok...just that the Japanese do not celebrate Chinese New Year, and we do not wear kimonos on the occasion too. But still, it looks fine!
And of course we have the signs of the zodiac. Its a little big to fit within the dimensions of my blog but...at least its cute!
Then and anime girl I wanted to put here just for the glitter effect. :P
This new year weekend is an exceptionally long one for me, as it started on Friday. I took up a job assignment for a day on friday. I did what I did on the job when I first took it up in December: daydream. I daydreamt most of the time and did the occasional work when someone showed up. A few good things came out of it though. I got paid and I managed to break every single high score on the game in my phone. Great. Bwaha!
The only thing that is probably stopping me from properly getting into the New Year mood is my swollen eyelid. God, it hurt like hell yesterday! To think I even put ice on it before I went to sleep! Well, it got slightly better today. The swelling has subsided a little and it is not painful anymore. This has got to be due to my drinking of chrysanthemum in water and the popping down of Yin Chiao tablets, lots of them.
Swelling swelling go away! I wanna eat my new year goodies! This is probably the only time of the year I can get to eat my favourite pineapple tarts!
Why do I like Chinese New Year? Apart from the pineapple tarts and red packets, I like the fact that I have free time. That is, if I do not have to go visiting. I know its impossible but...at least let me have a new year's dream?

Finally, I get to have a DS!!!
My DS was confirmed last weekend! My brother called from Tokyo to ask me what colour I wanted. He told me that over there, they are only selling the DSi and there are only 3 shops that are still selling Nintendo DSLite.
I always wanted a limited edition DS. Did I say that I was a sucker for limited editions? That explains the kitties I own although I am not a big fan of Hello Kitty. I buy them because they are limited to that certain area in Japan. Anyway, I didn't manage to get a limited edition one unfortunately. The latest limited one was a Mario red one that I thought was available. The one I really wanted was the Bape one and I really liked the Zelda gold one too. However, I have to be happy with my silver DS.
I'm just thinking of the games I can play! Bleach, D.Gray-man, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Taiko no Tatsujin, Prince of Tennis... OMG! I can't wait for my DS to be back!
Of course, I have to control myself not to be hooked on the DS!

We are voluntarily jumping into a sea of fire...
Yup, that fully sums up my feelings after today. Having the seminar about the BMS Club and stuff really made me wanna scream. This made me truly realised that the BMS course is based on nothing more than ideals with no realistic actions. The professor who started this whole course imo has no idea how to go about doing things! It made me feel that I am really cheated and I have wasted 3+ years of my precious youth doing something that is not relevant and has no practical use at all.
From some of my friends, I have gathered info that our seniors are really struggling in Beijing. Exams every 2 weeks? Who can take that?! Plus, the minimum mark to get the degree is 68! What if you fail? Just go die or something?
Seriously, no one is doing anything for our course. We are just left to die, what's more, in a foreign country. The courses are so packed it is almost impossible to learn anything at all! What is the use trying to cram so much into us if we can't take it in the first place? It is called dead memorisation, not using your brain!
Apparently to study TCM, we have to be those kind of people with "no life". Unfortunately, I think that it is very sad to become someone like that. It is just like we are born on this earth to slog our lives out.

First post
2009 came quietly, well came quietly to me at least. To me, nothing is special about 2009, just that its a new year. I grow a year older, a new school term starts, and basically everything just repeats itself.
Pretty sad for a first post in 2009 eh? With the recent events, it is almost definite that it would not be a good year at all. If only new year wishes would come true.
Pessimistic for the new year outlook. Oh yeah, I have become pessimistic after going through so many things. This world is just...
