CNY weekend
This is what I found when I searched on photobucket for Chinese New Year pictures. I think it looks ok...just that the Japanese do not celebrate Chinese New Year, and we do not wear kimonos on the occasion too. But still, it looks fine!
And of course we have the signs of the zodiac. Its a little big to fit within the dimensions of my blog but...at least its cute!
Then and anime girl I wanted to put here just for the glitter effect. :P
This new year weekend is an exceptionally long one for me, as it started on Friday. I took up a job assignment for a day on friday. I did what I did on the job when I first took it up in December: daydream. I daydreamt most of the time and did the occasional work when someone showed up. A few good things came out of it though. I got paid and I managed to break every single high score on the game in my phone. Great. Bwaha!
The only thing that is probably stopping me from properly getting into the New Year mood is my swollen eyelid. God, it hurt like hell yesterday! To think I even put ice on it before I went to sleep! Well, it got slightly better today. The swelling has subsided a little and it is not painful anymore. This has got to be due to my drinking of chrysanthemum in water and the popping down of Yin Chiao tablets, lots of them.
Swelling swelling go away! I wanna eat my new year goodies! This is probably the only time of the year I can get to eat my favourite pineapple tarts!
Why do I like Chinese New Year? Apart from the pineapple tarts and red packets, I like the fact that I have free time. That is, if I do not have to go visiting. I know its impossible but...at least let me have a new year's dream?
