Lunar New Year Eve!
It's Lunar New Year Even today! Everyone is thinking of a fun-filled reunion dinner and gatherings with friends and family. That's the norm for 除夕夜. But is it really so in every case?
Guess how I spent today?
Not exactly cleaning the toilet though, just cleaned lots of other stuff. And with that, the day is gone for me. Gone gone gone. I didn't even touch my books in the long weekend break! We are keeping the house spick and span just to accomodate the people coming to our house although I think that no one is coming in the first place. Its probably my mum's excuse to get me to clean the house. I mean, I have seen houses that I am even too afraid to enter their toilet... I think that it will be much worse in their houses.
Tired tired tired. That is all I have to say. And my reunion dinner only consists of 3 people. Not that I am complaining though. This way I have the time at night to do my own stuff, and that includes blogging. :P
At least I don't have to go visiting everywhere this Lunar New Year. The only reason I like Lunar New Year is because of the break, and not because of all the visiting I have to do. (And I even remember a year I was reprimanded for not wanting to go visiting on the second day of the New Year although my mum agreed with me. -_-; )
I don't care. Someone just give me my break. My new year blessings will probably come tomorrow. The new year atmosphere gradually fades as one gets older...
