Reversed roles?
There are so many reversed roles in anime. I thought of this some time ago when I was watching One Piece and the thought resurfaced lately when I watched Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
In anime, it seems like the stereotypical bad guys in real life turn out to be good guys in anime. For example in One Piece, certain pirates are actually good. As I was watching the Enies Lobby arc, I was thinking that the Marines are actually worse than the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy (I think) said the same thing a few episodes later... Well, the Straw Hat Pirates are not exactly your conventional pirates but in One Piece, pirates are the protagonists while the Marines are the antagonists...
Similarly in Katekyo Hitman Reborn, the protagonists are the mafia... Mafia are actually upholding justice! However, their opponents are worse mafia so it makes sense? But I wanna know how the Vongola family is surviving. Since they are mafia, they can't be doing a proper business? Shouldn't mafia, rob, steal, do illegal trafficking etc?!
