Post Office on Monday
I went to the post office today to post my letter to Japan. I was expecting the post office to perhaps be a little crowded, but it was filled with people! However, I was pretty patient so I waited in line. There were about 10-20 people in front of me I suppose.
Only 2 counters were open in the morning. I mean, shouldn't they like open more to handle the morning crowd? Everything was going ok until this old woman brought her grandchildren in. The first thing is, they were extremely noisy. I would have been happier if the PO was quiet, the noise just irritated me so. I was pretty patient today, but the woman behind me was not. She kept complaining and complaining and clicking her tongue I actually covered my ears so that I would not have to listen to her complaints! Her complaints and her noisy grandchildren irritated the hell out of me!
Then it was my turn. The person at the counter didn't explain much, but just gave me stamps and a customs declaration form and expected me to know how to do everything. I just blurred my way through everything. My letter better be sent properly, otherwise I will be the one making the complaint!
