A year older, in a different place
So I am a year older. I can feel my youth quickly being discarded unwillingly by me through the ruthless progression of time. 22. It seems like just yesterday that I was still a teenager, thinking that the future is still so faraway. In no time, I will be a old grandmother!
This is the first time I have spent my birthday abroad. A very big thank you goes out to all my friends who celebrated my birthday with me! Thanks for the presents, cake and the very enjoyable lunch! And also to Amanda, thank you for your card, although I have not received it yet. Lol! The postmen in China must be slacking away!
1 year older should signal a year of maturation for me. However, I think that I still harbour the childish thoughts I had many years ago! Haha! When will I ever grow up?
I am not in a hurry to grow up so...time! Spare me!

09/09/09, the last repeating set of single digits in this millenium. I guess many people around the world ar getting married today, especially the Chinese who consider 9 a lucky number. However, it is the seventh lunar month, therefore the number might not be as high as expected.
I got an early birthay present today!!! Very early in fact. Lol! I wanted to buy something warm and fluffy to put on my ledge so that I can sit there and study, look out of the window or do something else. I haven't found a satisfactory one. I wanted one that is easy to wash, warm, nice to touch and has a nice design. I don't know where my friends found it but it really fit into my criteria! Thanks Carolyn and Mei Ching!
Now that I have a furry ledge, I am so tempted to buy another cushion again... I bought one as a seat cushion and 2 toys as bolsters... I think my parents will totally freak out when they see how many toys I have!!!! My room is almost complete...almost. What is the missing thing? Anime merchandise.
Oh yeah, what is the room of an otaku without anime merchandise? Toys, figurines or whatever, I definitely want my room to be anime-fied! Long live otakus! I have a Doraemon clock though. That should contribute a bit.
